# Observability and audit

> What AgentFlow records about runs and actions, and how to export telemetry.

export const DocMeta = ({type, applies, owner}) => {
  const LABELS = {
    tutorial: "Tutorial",
    "how-to": "How-to guide",
    explanation: "Explanation",
    reference: "Reference"
  };
  return <div className="e6-meta">
      <span className={type === "how-to" || type === "tutorial" ? "e6-eyebrow" : "e6-eyebrow e6-eyebrow--quiet"}>{LABELS[type] || type}</span>
      {applies ? <span>Applies to: {applies}</span> : null}
      {owner ? <span>Owner: {owner}</span> : null}
    </div>;
};

<DocMeta type="explanation" applies="All deployments · for operators" />

## Run events

Runs produce structured events for:

* Step starts
* Tool calls
* Model output
* Approvals
* Errors
* Token usage

## Audit

Action plans and decisions are kept in the audit path: the frozen plan, approvals, rejections, requested changes, reminders, escalation, execution and results. See [Actions and approvals](/agentflow/automate/actions-and-approvals).

## Telemetry export

The deployment supports structured telemetry, OpenTelemetry, and Vector-based delivery of logs and events.
