# Delete workspace

> Permanently delete a workspace from the e6data Console after detaching its clusters, catalogs, and endpoints.

<Danger>
  Deleting a workspace is permanent and cannot be undone. Before you delete, detach its resources to avoid leaving orphaned infrastructure:

  * Delete all clusters assigned to the workspace.
  * Disconnect all catalogs connected to the workspace.
</Danger>

## Delete the workspace

In the e6data Console:

1. [Delete all clusters](/query/clusters/create-and-manage) assigned to the workspace.
2. Disconnect all catalogs connected to the workspace.
3. Go to **Workspaces** and click the name of the workspace to delete (or open its kebab menu and choose **Delete**).
4. Click **Delete Workspace** and confirm.

For an **In Your VPC** deployment, also tear down the in-cluster resources - see Delete workspace for [AWS In-VPC](/platform/deploy/aws-cloudprem/delete-workspace) or [Azure In-VPC](/platform/deploy/azure-cloudprem/delete-workspace) for the full teardown.
