# Connect to Apache Polaris

*Before starting, ensure Polaris is available and you have the required credentials from your admin.*

1. Navigate to the appropriate workspace and use the sidebar to access catalog options.
2. Click on **Catalogs** section in the e6data UI.

2. Click **Create** in the right left corner and choose type: **POLARIS**.

3. Provide the required information:

* Catalog Name
* Polaris Catalog Name
* Polaris URL
* Client ID
* Client Secret

4. Save and validate the connection.
