# Edit a Glue Metastore Connection

Editing a Glue Metastore connection lets a user change the databases/schemas that are accessible for querying.

To change connection details (region, etc.), the metastore connection should be deleted and recreated.

1. In the Catalog section click the name of the catalog to be edited, to access the summary page of that catalog.
2. Click the **Edit Catalog** option on the top right side of the page.
3. Select/deselect schemas as required.
4. To enable automatic catalog updates, toggle on the auto-refresh option and set the desired time interval for catalog updates. 
5. If you do not require auto-refresh for your catalog, you can proceed to the next step.
6. Click **Update Catalog**
