# Accept invites

> Accept an invitation to join an existing e6data organization.

If an admin invited you to their organization, you'll receive an email invitation. Accepting it is passwordless - there's no separate sign-up form.

## Accept an invitation

1. Open the invitation email and select **Log In**.
2. You're taken to the login page with your email pre-filled.
3. Verify with the 6-digit code emailed to you - or through SSO if your organization uses it.
4. You're added to the organization and signed in, landing on the **Workspaces** page.

Your role is set by the admin who invited you - **Viewer** by default. See [Roles and permissions](https://docs.e6data.com/platform/identity/roles-and-permissions.md) for what each role can do.

>
> Email invitations are valid for **7 days**. If yours has expired, ask the admin to resend or re-invite you.
