## Syntax

SUBSCRIPT OPERATOR \[]

The Subscript operator is used to access the elements of an array. The index starts with 1

```sql theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"github-dark"}}
> select a[1] from (select array[1,2,3] as a)
1
```
