# IN

> IN in Query Engine SQL.

## Syntax

IN( value1, value2, value3...)

```sql theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"github-dark"}}
WHERE element IN (expr1, expr2, expr3...)
```

Returns a boolean value **true** if the `element` value is present in the given set of expressions. Else false is returned.

```sql theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"github-dark"}}
> select colA from Table1 where colB in (val1, val2, val3);
```
