connect_timeout
Sets how long the catalog client waits to establish a connection.
- Default:
10 s
- Type: duration
Example
A ten-second timeout allows ten seconds to connect to a catalog endpoint. It does not allow the entire query only ten seconds.
request_timeout
Sets how long the catalog client waits for one HTTP request to finish.
- Default:
30 s
- Type: duration
Example
A 30-second timeout bounds one catalog request, such as loading table metadata. Query execution can take longer.
