Limits how many schedule records the scheduler handles in one pass.

Example
With 100, a backlog of 1000 schedules is handled across multiple passes rather than one large pass.
lateness_tolerance
Sets how late a scheduled occurrence can be before it is treated as missed.
- Default:
60 s
- Type: duration
Example
With 60 seconds, a run due at 10:00 becomes late after 10:01. The workload’s missed-run policy then determines whether to skip or catch up.
max_pending_runs_per_workload
Limits how many runs may wait in the queue for one workload.
- Default:
1024
- Type: integer; positive
Example
1024 prevents one frequently scheduled, slow workload from creating an unlimited queue of waiting runs.
