This page introduces the new gateway connectivity feature, enabling seamless external client connections through endpoints on the e6data platform.

We're excited to announce the latest enhancements to the e6data platform. We now support [gateway connectivity](#gateway-connectivity) when creating [endpoints](https://docs.e6data.com/temp-2.0-doc-3/DZwp6Y16JQO9N5jTiz0d/guides/network-access/endpoints-and-cluster-ingress) for external client connections.

## Gateway Connectivity

Now, users can establish connections with external clients seamlessly, even without direct connectivity enabled. For instructions on enabling gateway connectivity for your e6data cluster, please refer to the [documentation](https://docs.e6data.com/temp-2.0-doc-3/DZwp6Y16JQO9N5jTiz0d/guides/network-access/endpoints-and-cluster-ingress).

With this enhancement, we're thrilled to announce that gateway connection support is currently available with Tableau Cloud.
