A trigger is a persistent, project-scoped record that starts one or more workflows. A manual click or a run from chat is a run mode, not a stored trigger.

Run behavior on Kubernetes

Each enabled cron trigger is reconciled to its own Kubernetes CronJob. Overlapping runs are forbidden, and the missed-start deadline is 300 seconds. The durable trigger record is the source of truth. The local Compose profile doesn’t run cron automation. See Schedule a workflow and Start workflows from webhooks.
