Run a query
- In the Compute Plane, open the SQL Editor.
- Select the cluster you created and the catalog you connected.
- Run a simple query against a table you can see, for example:
- Confirm that results return in the results pane.
If the query fails
- A
403-style or access error usually means the cross-account IAM role is missing an S3 or Glue permission, or its ARN isn’t registered. Revisit Configure AWS access. - A connection or schema error usually points to the catalog. Revisit Connect S3 and Glue and use Test Connection.
- See Troubleshooting for the full list.
