A Serverless workspace on Azure runs e6data’s compute in e6data’s own Azure subscription, fully managed for you. Your data stays in your Azure account - e6data reads it read-only through a keyless Workload Identity federation. There’s no Kubernetes to run.
Who this is for: any e6data user with Azure access - no Kubernetes to run. Before you start: permission to provision a Managed Identity and register a Storage Credential, plus access to the ADLS data and catalog you want to query (see Prerequisites).
This guide walks the full deployment in order.
