`ascii`	Scalar	Returns the Unicode code point of the first character in a string.
`base64`	Scalar	Encodes bytes as MIME Base64 text.
`char`	Scalar	Returns the character for the low eight bits of a nonnegative numeric value.
`char_length`	Scalar	Counts Unicode characters in a string.
`character_length`	Scalar	Counts Unicode characters in a string.
`charindex`	Scalar	Returns a substring position.
`chr`	Scalar	Returns the character for the low eight bits of a nonnegative numeric value.
`concat`	Scalar	Concatenates strings in argument order.
`concat_ws`	Scalar	Joins strings or string-array elements using a separator.
`contains_substr`	Scalar	Tests whether a string contains another string.
`encode`	Scalar	Encodes text using a character encoding.
`ends_with`	Scalar	Tests whether a string ends with another string.
`endswith`	Scalar	Tests whether a string ends with another string.
`format`	Scalar	Formats values using a printf-style pattern.
`format_number`	Scalar	Formats a number using digits or a decimal pattern.
`format_string`	Scalar	Formats values using a printf-style pattern.
`from_base64`	Scalar	Decodes MIME Base64 text.
`ilike`	Scalar	Tests whether a string matches a SQL wildcard pattern without case sensitivity.
`initcap`	Scalar	Capitalizes each word and lowercases the rest.
`instr`	Scalar	Returns a substring position.
`lcase`	Scalar	Converts a string to lowercase.
`left`	Scalar	Returns characters from the start of a string.
`len`	Scalar	Returns the number of Unicode characters in a string.
`length`	Scalar	Returns the character count of a string or the byte count of binary data.
`levenshtein`	Scalar	Counts the edits needed to transform one string into another.
`like`	Scalar	Tests whether a string matches a SQL wildcard pattern.
`locate`	Scalar	Returns a substring position.
`lower`	Scalar	Converts a string to lowercase.
`lower_case`	Scalar	Converts a string to lowercase.
`lpad`	Scalar	Pads or truncates a string to a requested character length.
`ltrim`	Scalar	Removes leading characters from a string.

`starts_with`	Scalar	Tests whether a string starts with another string.

`strpos`	Scalar	Returns a substring position.
`substr`	Scalar	Extracts part of a string or binary value.
`substring`	Scalar	Extracts part of a string or binary value.
`substring_index`	Scalar	Returns a prefix or suffix selected by delimiter occurrence count.
`to_base64`	Scalar	Encodes bytes as MIME Base64 text.
`to_hex`	Scalar	Returns uppercase hexadecimal text.
`translate`	Scalar	Replaces or removes individual characters according to corresponding character lists.
`trim`	Scalar	Removes characters from the beginning, end or both ends of a string.
`try_url_decode`	Scalar	Decodes form URL encoding, returning NULL for invalid input.
`ucase`	Scalar	Converts a string to uppercase.
`unbase64`	Scalar	Decodes MIME Base64 text.
`upper`	Scalar	Converts a string to uppercase.
`upper_case`	Scalar	Converts a string to uppercase.
`url_decode`	Scalar	Decodes form URL encoding into a UTF-8 string.
`url_encode`	Scalar	Encodes a string using application/x-www-form-urlencoded rules.
