• Type: STRING
• NULL behavior: Returns a non-NULL timezone string; unset configuration returns UTC.

• CURRENT_TIMEZONE returns the configured value verbatim; it does not validate or normalize spelling.
• Deterministic: The result can change with session settings or execution time, but stays constant within one query.
